Dr. Williams, a member of four of President Reagan’s advisory and transition teams, opens the first of six lectures in the John M. Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs Major Issues Lecture Series.
Dr. Williams is the author of the recent book, The State Against Blacks, published by McGraw Hill in 1982, which has been made into a television documentary. He is the author of numerous articles and monographs which have appeared in scholar journals and popular publications. His radio and television appearances have included Dr. Milton Friedman’s "Free to Choose", and the WTBS Debate Series, "Counterpoint."
Dr. Williams serves on numerous advisory boards including the American Enterprise Institute, Young Americans for Freedom, the John M. Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs, ant the National Tax Limitation Committee. He holds a B.A. degree in economics from California State University and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from U.C.L.A.
