About the Author
R.F. Hassing holds advanced degrees in physics, political theory, and philosophy from Cornell University, the University of Toronto, and Catholic University. He visited Romania in 1974 as a National Academy of Sciences exchange grantee, and returned several times thereafter. In 1992 he began a continuing collaboration with the new political science department of the University of Cluj, Romania. He has published articles in physics and philosophy of nature, and is currently on the faculty of the School of Philosophy, Catholic University.
